Other Classroom Area Optionals
1 of 10: Three of the rooms have hostile students in them, and you'll want to equip items that make you immune to level/ability drain and death magic before you fight them.
2 of 10: One such room is along the north side of the area, just east of the stairs that lead to the instructors' quarters area.
3 of 10: Another one is up in the NW corner, near the stairs that lead to the Headmistress' Tower.
4 of 10: All you'll get from the dead students' remains is gold, but check the large open crate in the second of those rooms to find Weighted Golem Arms. Those are useful in the nearby golem laboratory.
5 of 10: The other hostile-students room is in the SE corner of the area, near Master Inarus' classroom.
6 of 10: After they're all down, search the tables in the room to find a powerful Club of Submission.
7 of 10: The locked door in that room, plus the one in Master Zerzura's room to the west, can only be opened if you have the keys from the "Skeleton Keys" quest.
8 of 10: There's a magic belt called Construct Girdle inside a large crate near the entrance in the golem laboratory. Wearing the girdle gives Strength +12 and immunity to paralysis and sneak attacks, but drains Dexterity by 6 and makes you 50% more vulnerable to bludgeoning damage.
9 of 10: In Poruset's laboratory, you'll find an alchemist's workbench and a cauldron with magic gauntlets in it called Grips of Gond, which add 12 to all crafting skills.
10 of 10: In the golem laboratory, you can build a custom golem and enter it into a competition.
