Essence Tips
1 of 3: Since the essence you click on will be used up, make it a volatile spirit essence instead of a better one.
2 of 3: If all you have are better ones, get Safiya to break one up into volatile ones using her Shaper's Alembic.
3 of 3: If you don't have any spirit essences at all, you can get a brilliant one by either doing the "Skeleton Keys" quest or buying one from the pit fiends in the instructors' quarters area.
