An Ally at the Veil

  • 1 of 12: You can start working on this quest at any time after finishing the "Wrath of the Bear God" quest as specified in the Act II, Part 1 hints. However, it's better to do all of the Part 1 quests first in order to gain lots of valuable XP and items that'll make the Part 2 quests easier.
  • 2 of 12: Go back to the Veil Theater and talk to the actors inside.
  • 3 of 12: Magda will give you some useful information, plus a key to a secret room of Lienna's. (You can also ask her if she sells any hats or masks to bring up her shop inventory.)
  • 4 of 12: She said the secret room was in the Plane of Shadows version of Lienna's bedroom, so go to the NW room and find the shadow portal that you used before.
  • 5 of 12: After going through it, locate the locked "shadow theater door" in the east wall.
  • 6 of 12: The key Magda gave you will allow you to open that door and go through it.
  • 7 of 12: You'll find yourself in a large room full of magical doorways that aren't currently functioning.
  • 8 of 12: There's also a Keeper of the Doors golem standing around, so see if you can do anything with him after searching near him for treasure.
  • 9 of 12: After you revive the golem, ask him to open the first door for you.
  • 10 of 12: This will allow three gargoyle minions to enter the room.
  • 11 of 12: Move toward them and talk to them to find out a bit more about how you came to be in your current predicament.
  • 12 of 12: You'll also get a new lead that will finish this quest and start you on "The Sunken City."
