A Fitting Replacement

  • 1 of 10: This is a sub-quest of "Four Failed Souls."
  • 2 of 10: Go to the instructors' quarters area and head down to its SE room.
  • 3 of 10: Talk to Bebtu in bed to learn that he needs his own soul back.
  • 4 of 10: He says that it was put in the soul depository, so go back to the classroom area and find the depository in the southern of the two central rooms.
  • 5 of 10: Use the viewing receptacle to check each soul you can find, looking for one whose contents make it sound like it would be Bebtu's.
  • 6 of 10: The one you're after is soul #346.
  • 7 of 10: It's in a soul container on the north side of the northern set of shelves.
  • 8 of 10: With no other depository souls in your possession, take that soul and go to Bebtu.
  • 9 of 10: Talk to him to get his soul reinstated, and to get the Surrogate Soul item.
  • 10 of 10: He'll also give you a promissory note, which you can go give to the soul depository's caretaker to make up for the soul that you took (since you won't ever be checking it back in).
