How does the soul depository area work?
1 of 6: Talk to the depository's caretaker golem for some info on the place, then find the viewing receptacle.
2 of 6: To use it, you'll have to put a soul container into it and then use the big lever next to it.
3 of 6: Look in the "soul housing" items that are on or next to the two large bookshelves near the caretaker. Each one contains one soul container.
4 of 6: After transferring a soul container from your inventory to the viewing receptacle, hit the lever to get a dialogue window with some information about the soul.
5 of 6: You can use that information to determine whether or not the soul currently in the viewer is one you're interested in for a quest.
6 of 6: When you're done viewing a soul, put it back in your inventory, then either check it out (by leaving the depository area) or leave it behind (by putting it in a soul container or just dropping it on the floor).
