Uncanny Reflections

  • 1 of 15: This is a sub-quest of "Four Failed Souls."
  • 2 of 15: Before you start on this quest, you'll have to find Nefris' hidden key.
  • 3 of 15: Go through the door that leads to the instructors' quarters area, then find the locked door that's just SW of the exit to the classrooms area.
  • 4 of 15: Thanks to Nefris' hidden key, you can now open that door and explore the room beyond.
  • 5 of 15: After getting this quest added to your journal, click on the nearby orb.
  • 6 of 15: Touch it to see what happens.
  • 7 of 15: It causes a beam to be fired from an obelisk and hit a nearby mirror.
  • 8 of 15: The mirrors are supposed to reflect the beam off somewhere, so you'll have to adjust them (by clicking on them) so that the beam gets to where it's going.
  • 9 of 15: Take the orb so you can put it on your quickbar and use it from there, then start adjusting mirrors.
  • 10 of 15: Even after you get the beam reflected to where it's supposed to go, nothing seems to happen.
  • 11 of 15: Check your journal entry for this quest.
  • 12 of 15: Apparently, someone is supposed to stand on the dais that's between the beam-emitting obelisk and the first mirror.
  • 13 of 15: Give the activation orb to someone, move him onto the dais, and have him use the orb.
  • 14 of 15: After the beam is gone, run down to its destination dais to find that an image of the character who stood on the first dais is there.
  • 15 of 15: Have that character click on the image in order to receive the Incomplete Soul item.
