How can I get this machine working?
1 of 13: Use the interactive "Imaskari device" thing, then take the globe when you can.
2 of 13: Safiya may or may not describe the globe-restoring process as you're examining the machine.
3 of 13: The first step is to get blood from a fresh corpse into it.
4 of 13: There's a fresh corpse on the other side of the room, so go click on it and choose the option to bring the globe close to the body.
5 of 13: After it gets its fill of blood, you'll need to put in some of the glowing powder that the local air elementals drop when you attack them.
6 of 13: You probably attacked one on the way to the machine room, so go back and click on the powder that's on the floor.
7 of 13: Mix the powder into the globe when you get the option, and that'll fully repower the globe.
8 of 13: Put the fixed globe back into the machine via the control device's dialogue options, then look around for a lever you can use.
9 of 13: The nearest one to the machine room you're in is in the possession of a gnoll in the Sleeper's area.
10 of 13: It's just a bit east of the machine room, so go over there and talk to the exiled gnoll.
11 of 13: He says he'll trade the lever to you for a duergar axe, but you might as well just take the lever by force. That way, you'll get to kill and loot all of the exiles in the room.
