Middle Barrow Tips
1 of 8: From the starting room, take the west path to reach a large room with several barrow guardians and an ancient wooden chest in it.
2 of 8: After killing the guardians, check the chest to find a powerful +4 spear called the Frost Harpoon.
3 of 8: Go back to the starting room and take the east path to find two other rooms with treasure chests in them.
4 of 8: One of them contains the Telthori Totem, which adds to saving throws for whoever has it in his inventory.
5 of 8: The other chest (the one guarded by the big telthor bear) contains the Skin of Shadow, which gives AC +5, spell resistance 24, and lets you cast Shadow Shield three times a day.
6 of 8: Unless you really need it yourself, have Safiya replace her standard robes with it. Her AC won't go up, but she can sure use the spell resistance.
7 of 8: NOTE: If your character can't identify all of these items, you may have to have Safiya cast an identifying spell on them. (You'll get that option when you right-click on an unidentified item in her inventory.)
8 of 8: That pretty much covers the Middle Barrow area except for the two rooms that are involved in the "Appeasing the Spirits" quest.
