Helping Heilari

  • 1 of 7: See the Shadow Mulsantir South tips from Act I, Part 3 if you haven't discovered Heilari yet.
  • 2 of 7: If you waited until now to deal with Heilari, you can get a valuable, unique ring from him.
  • 3 of 7: First, finish the "The Death God's Vault" quest and get the Tome of Profane Rebirth from the vault's lower-level archives.
  • 4 of 7: With the tome in your inventory, click on Heilari's body and choose to try to complete the wizard's ritual.
  • 5 of 7: Let Safiya do it to gain influence with her, and you'll get 1000 XP and several evil alignment points.
  • 6 of 7: You can then talk to Heilari to get the Ring of Seething Hatred, which gives a spell resistance of 20 and lets you cast Haste and Rage each three times a day.
  • 7 of 7: If you want a tough combat with Heilari and the death knights, choose the dialogue option where you say that you expect payment from him. You can take the ring from his remains after the combat is over.
