1 of 8: Click on the spirit to get him to run to a spot that's just outside his room.
2 of 8: There are two ways to get him to the spot that's between ghost lights a and b, but I'll only list one of them below. The other should be obvious from studying the map.
3 of 8: Turn light e on, and turn lights d and b off.
4 of 8: Click on the spirit to get him to run north to a spot between lights b and d.
5 of 8: Turn light d back on, then click on the spirit to get him to the spot between lights a and b.
6 of 8: Your next goal is to get him into the large room that's just north of the tree room.
7 of 8: To do that, you need to make sure light a is off, and lights b and c are on.
8 of 8: To make sure he goes into the tree room when you next click on him, turn light a back on, then make sure that light n is also on.
