1 of 3: Whatever you decide to do, save your game first in case you get yourself into a situation you can't get out of.
2 of 3: You could talk to Tholapsyx first and agree to help her kill off the fire giants, but you really don't want to have to fight both the dragon and giants at the same time, or fight the dragon immediately after fighting the giants with no chance to rest in between.
3 of 3: So take each titanic menace on individually.
