The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Permanent Bound Weapon Tips
of 10: Go to a spellmaking altar and create a spell that summons two or more different bound weapons at the same time for 1 second.
of 10: The two cheapest bound weapon spells are for the dagger and axe, so you'll have to practice your Conjuration skill up to 25 before you can start.
of 10: Once it's 25 or more, you can create a spell that summons a bound dagger and a bound axe for 1 second when cast.
of 10: Cast the spell and hit the Menu Mode key to pause the game as soon as it takes effect.
of 10: Go to your weapon inventory to find that you've got the bound axe equipped (which makes it undroppable) and the bound dagger unequipped (which makes it droppable).
of 10: Drop the bound dagger, then unpause the game and allow the spell to wear off.
of 10: The axe will disappear, but the dagger never will, so pick it up. It's a permanent and weightless Daedric dagger!
of 10: Once your Conjuration skill is 50, you can make spells that'll give you permanent bound bows and maces. When it reaches 75, you can make permanent bound sword spells.
of 10: Don't put all of those weapons on the same spell, though -- pair each one up with the bound axe, which is always the weapon equipped when such spells are cast. This means that it's impossible to create a permanent bound axe that way.
of 10: The really neat thing about all this is that permanent bound weapons can be enchanted just like any other weapon. You can build up a huge arsenal of powerful enchanted weapons that you can carry everywhere with you since they're all totally weightless!
