The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Blood of the Divines

  • 1 of 12: You may get this quest along with "Bruma Gate" when you talk to Martin about turning over a Daedric artifact. If not, you'll have to wait until you've finished "Bruma Gate" and reported in to Jauffre.
  • 2 of 12: Talk to Jauffre about the armor of Tiber Septim. (Note that if you get this quest from Jauffre, you may have to talk to Martin, then Jauffre again.)
  • 3 of 12: Jauffre will tell you the armor is in Sancre Tor (location 1 on the Jerall and Valus Mountains map), and will give you the key to its front door.
  • 4 of 12: Before you go, make sure you have at least one good magic weapon with you, preferably two or three, so you can handle all the ghosts and such that you're likely to encounter in the ruins.
  • 5 of 12: When you enter Sancre Tor, make your way along the only path available until you reach a closed gate you can't open directly.
  • 6 of 12: Look around nearby for a floor lever that you can use to open the gate, then continue on until you get to a room with a skeletal warrior in it called an Undead Blade.
  • 7 of 12: Kill the thing and raid its remains to find a neat amulet that fortifies your Block skill when you wear it.
  • 8 of 12: Talk to the spirit of Rielus when it appears to learn that Zurin Arctus the Underking (the guy who gave the quote used at the very beginning of Morrowind) long ago imprisoned four Blades members' souls here to block the shrine with Tiber Septim's old armor in it.
  • 9 of 12: That armor is what you're after, so you're going to have to find a way to unblock the shrine.
  • 10 of 12: After all four Blades' souls are freed, go to the Tomb of the Reman Emperors and watch as the spirits do their stuff.
  • 11 of 12: When you get a journal entry about the evil enchantment being dispelled, move forward and get the armor of Tiber Septim from its pedestal.
  • 12 of 12: Then exit Sancre Tor the way you came and return to the Cloud Ruler Temple to turn the armor over to Martin.
