The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Shortcut Note

  • 1 of 9: You could have greatly shortcut this process if you're fast and acrobatic enough.
  • 2 of 9: Instead of going into the side area and getting the walls to move, get on the main room's upper walkway and stand next to the west wall, near its center.
  • 3 of 9: Look to the east to see the narrow bridge-like area that you're trying to get to.
  • 4 of 9: Notice that it's currently blocked on both sides by closed gates and the moveable walls.
  • 5 of 9: Try taking a running jump from your walkway to the blocked-off center of the bridge-like area.
  • 6 of 9: Using the Springheel Jak boots to help with the jump, you should be able to make it.
  • 7 of 9: Or at least, that used to work. With the latest patch version, there's an invisible force field preventing it. However, you can get around it.
  • 8 of 9: Instead of trying to jump to the bridge's center section, jump to either of the two side sections (or use the narrow ledges that lead there), then get up on the raised stone corner on its east side.
  • 9 of 9: From there, you can jump over to the bridge's center section, though your Acrobatics skill will need to be at least 100 in order to make it.
