    When you ask to join, your bounty has to be zero.

    If you ever get expelled and want back in, you'll have to talk to Raminus Polus in the Arch-Mage's Lobby at the Arcane University. The first two times you get expelled, he'll set you on a tedious ingredient-hunting task. (See below for ingredient-finding tips.) The third time, you're out for good.
