Warnings
1 of 4: Any guards that follow you into the bounty remover's house will still be hostile after you have your bounty removed, so try to lose any close pursuers before you enter the house.
2 of 4: Also, the game sometimes glitches and *still* doesn't let you rest or fast-travel after your bounty is paid off.
3 of 4: If this happens, you can try yielding to a guard if they're still hostile (see the "Arts of Combat" section of the game manual), but that may not work if your bounty is zero.
4 of 4: If trying that several times with several different guards doesn't work, try stealing a cheap item and then yielding to a guard and paying the fine.
