Bravil Recommendation
1 of 10: Speak to Kud-Ei in the Bravil Mages Guild about "Recommendation," "Varon Vamori," and then "Mage's Staff" to get this quest.
2 of 10: Find Vamori by following the quest arrow, then talk to him about Ardaline.
3 of 10: To get a useful response out of him, you'll have to get his disposition up to 65.
4 of 10: That's where the Beguile scroll that Kud-Ei gave you can come in handy (though you can use bribes or the persuasion mini-game instead).
5 of 10: When he admits he's infatuated with Ardaline, ask him about her staff to learn that he's sold it to Soris Arenim, who lives in the Imperial City's Talos Plaza District.
6 of 10: Talk to Kud-Ei about Vamori to get three more Beguile scrolls, then fast-travel to the Imperial City's Talos Plaza District.
7 of 10: Find Soris Arenim's house, which is in the NW set of buildings, and go inside and talk to him about the staff.
8 of 10: If you can get his disposition up to 70 or more (using Beguile scrolls, bribes, etc.), he'll offer to sell the staff to you for 200 gold.
9 of 10: You can either pay him the money, or find a way to get the staff for free.
