The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
What if the form number that the construction set gave me doesn't work?
1 of 4: If this happens, it's because you have other modules loaded besides your new ESP module.
2 of 4: You can try running the construction set and loading every module into it at once that you have the game use. The form number it gives you for your new item then should work in the game.
3 of 4: Or you can just guess based on the fact that the first (leftmost) two digits of the item's form number is a module number. For instance, if you get the form number of 01000ED3 for your super ring, but that doesn't work in the game, try the form numbers 02000ED3, 03000ED3, 04000ED3, and so on until you get the ring.
4 of 4: Note that if you get to module number 09 without it working, the next six module numbers are 0A, 0B, 0C, 0D, 0E, and 0F. After that, it's 10, 11, 12, and so on. (That's standard two-digit hexadecimal numbering.)
