The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Two Sides of the Coin
of 19: You can learn through rumor that Arnora Auria needs help getting back some money that her boyfriend Jorundr stole.
of 19: She lives in "Arnora's House" at the south end of the city.
of 19: After learning of her problem through rumors, get her disposition up to 60 and ask her about Jorundr and the stolen gold.
of 19: When her long story is complete, you'll know that she and Jorundr are thieves who stole a lot of gold, and she'll split it with you if you can get Jorundr to tell you where he hid it.
of 19: Go to Castle Bruma's Great Hall and find the door that leads to the dungeon.
of 19: Find the jailor and talk to him about "visit a prisoner" to get him to unlock the nearby door that leads to the prison cells.
of 19: However, when you speak to Jorundr, he'll just think you're trying to help the guards find the stolen gold.
of 19: To convince him otherwise, you'll have to become a fellow convict.
of 19: The quickest and easiest way to do this is to punch or pickpocket the jailor and then choose jail time as your punishment.
of 19: Talk to Jorundr once you're in his cell to get him to tell you a very different story from the one Arnora told.
of 19: Right after he says that he'll tell you where the gold is in exchange for proof of Arnora's death, a guard named Tyrellius Logellus will come by and talk to Jorundr.
of 19: After that conversation is over, use one of the nearby bedrolls to serve your time.
of 19: However you get Arnora's amulet, Jorundr will tell you where the gold is buried.
of 19: As usual with this sort of thing, it's easiest to make this quest the active one and follow the quest arrow.
of 19: You'll find a treasure chest called "Jorundr's Loot" among some rocks a bit north of town.
of 19: After you take the loot, the quest will be over unless you helped Arnora fake her death instead of really killing her.
of 19: If that's the case, that Logellus guy from earlier will approach and attack you near the treasure chest.
of 19: After you kill him, loot the chest and then return to Arnora's house to find her dead body (Logellus apparently killed her), which gets you a quest-completion journal entry.
