The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Wendelbek
of 12: This ruin is at location 13 on the Nibenay map.
of 12: Head south from the entrance until you get to a locked gate.
of 12: If you can't unlock this gate, you'll have to go east and around through a bunch of rooms to get to the area on the other side of the gate.
of 12: Past the gate, head down the long west passage until it turns north.
of 12: Not far past that is the door to Wendelbek Aldmerisel.
of 12: Past a pressure pad that opens a gate when you step on it, you'll come to a huge room with lots of Welkynd stones scattered about, plus a Varla stone on a slab near the center of the room.
of 12: About halfway along the east wall of that room is a closed gate that you need to open.
of 12: To do so, go north and find the passage that winds around to a spot where there's a press block you can use.
of 12: It'll open the gate, so return to it to find the door to the Sel Aran Mathmedli area just past it.
of 12: Just past the door, turn left and find some stairs to go down.
of 12: Past them, go left and then right to get to a gate that's opened by the press block next to it.
of 12: Past the gate, turn right and you'll soon get to the statue you want.
