The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Oblivion World 5
of 8: There are two gates leading into this Oblivion world.
of 8: Gate 1: You'll appear facing SW, and will see a path stretching out ahead of you, with one of those little spinny-top fireball-throwin' towers in the distance.
of 8: Gate 2: You'll appear facing east, standing near two charred corpses on the ground. Ahead is a path that leads east, and over to the right you can see the silhouette of the sigil citadel.
of 8: If you appear at gate 1, ignore the path leading SW and instead head north to find a door to the Nether Tunnels. Don't enter them, but instead find a rough pathway west of the tunnel door that leads eventually all the way around the citadel (ccw) to its front door.
of 8: If you appear at gate 2, make your way along the mine-strewn path until you come to the base of the citadel's small mountain, then go SW and around to where you can get up to the citadel's front door.
of 8: Going through this citadel's front door will randomly choose one of five specific citadel towers for you to ascend.
of 8: TIP: Save before you enter the citadel's front door, then restore and try again if you don't get a smaller and simpler tower area. (The Gore Steeple and the Dreaded Refuge are the easiest.)
of 8: In all cases, make your way to the top of the tower via ramps and side areas, then enter the Sigillum Sanguis area and grab the sigil stone from the top of the fiery column.
