How can I get to the frame in the sky?

  • 1 of 13: You can't get there until you've solved the puzzles at the other three locations, so you might want to hold off on this puzzle first.
  • 2 of 13: The frame will not be a valid destination until there's actually something there.
  • 3 of 13: Solving the puzzle at the statue is the first step.  But you might want to display Bismuth's work next.
  • 4 of 13: There is a switch just to the left of the display.  Flip it, and his painting will appear in the frame.
  • 5 of 13: Now, try flying to the frame.
  • 6 of 13: You can't do this from regulation flight mode.
  • 7 of 13: Finally, try selecting the frame in the sky.
  • 8 of 13: You'll need to transfer control to the machine pilot.
  • 9 of 13: This requires the crossover chip from the Church of the Machine.
  • 10 of 13: And there's a clearly indicated location for the chip on the plane.
  • 11 of 13: It's just to the right of the door to the engine room and says "INSERT".  Use the chip there.
  • 12 of 13: Now, pull the lever to transfer control of the plane to the machine pilot. You'll be asked to do another pre-flight check.
  • 13 of 13: Again, you need to switch to non-regulation mode.  Once you do that, you'll go to the frame and move to the next segment of the game.
