How do I get sweet cakes for the favorite?
1 of 14: The prince has rigged up a machine to dispense sweets to his wives. Go look at the "dainty scales" (in the hall leading to the aviary -- check the map for the location), then ask Souafi about them.
2 of 14: The scales are designed, as the plaque on it shows, to dispense different types of cakes depending on how fat the person is -- the rich fatty things for the skinny wives, the cruddy low-cal ones for the fat wives. Given the favorite's self-indulgent personality, which one do you think she wants?
3 of 14: When Ann steps on the scales, nothing happens; she apparently is too heavy to even qualify for the cruddy low-cal cakes. (Guess she's heavier than she looks. Of course, she's also wearing a *lot* more clothes than any of the wives -- those boots alone must be a good 20 pounds.) You need to find a way to funk with the scales and reveal the cakes.
4 of 14: Look in the room to the left of the scales. These bags are the counterweight for the scales. You can't make yourself lighter; maybe you can make the bags heavier.
5 of 14: Given that we're in the middle of a desert, the bags are probably filled with sand. What's heavier than sand?
6 of 14: How about wet sand?
7 of 14: Go to the pool in the main room, to the area where two houris (another word for women who live in a harem) are sitting on a sofa. After you've looked at the dainty scales, there will be a pitcher on a tray on the floor next to them. Take it, then go left to the overhead view of the pool room to find a hotspot on the lower left side of the pool (between the two sofa ladies and Souafi's usual spot) where you can fill the pitcher.
8 of 14: Use the pitcher of water on the front sandbag, then step on the scales again. Voila! Cakes. Take them and give them to the favorite.
9 of 14: Greedy guts! -- she wants more. You'll have to get the scales to reveal the next level of cakes.
10 of 14: Repeat the trick with the water, pouring it on the back sandbag this time to reveal a new type of cakes.
11 of 14: When you give them to the favorite, you get much the same kind of result, as you might expect. What now? There are only two sandbags.
12 of 14: Did you notice that when you poured water on the second bag, a handle dropped down in front of the first sandbag? Pull it.
13 of 14: Once you've done that, you now need to climb on top of the scales to reach the last row of cakes. Get them and hand them off to the greedy favorite --
14 of 14: -- who characteristically blames you for "making" her eat all those cakes, and asks you to do something else for her.
