The Orange Box: Portal Hints
How can I get onto the moving platform?
1 of 6: Go to the edge of the platform you're on that's opposite the moving platform, then wait until the moving platform starts moving to the right.
2 of 6: You can't jump straight to the moving platform, so you're going to be trying to jump onto its nearest support.
3 of 6: To do that, you'll have to run across the platform you're on and jump at the very last instant, then crouch in mid-air.
4 of 6: If you do it just right, you'll land on the moving platform support.
5 of 6: Get up on its highest part, then wait for the moving platform to come back your way.
6 of 6: When it gets close, jump onto it. (Don't wait long enough for it to crush you to death.)
