How can I get an orb into receptor #1?
1 of 8: This receptor is the one in the small metal-clad side room that's on the main lift room's lower floor.
2 of 8: This is a fairly easy one, since the receptor room also contains an orb firer.
3 of 8: However, the firer doesn't shoot orbs at the receptor, and you can't redirect these orbs with portals due to all the metal surfaces.
4 of 8: You're going to need your cute little cube companion for this one.
5 of 8: If you didn't bring it down with you, you'll have to go back up and get it.
6 of 8: Use your companion cube to bounce the orb into the receptor.
7 of 8: The best way to do this is to hold the cube in front of the orb firer so that the orb will hit an angled cube surface that'll direct it toward the receptor. If it instead starts bouncing wildly about the room, you may be killed.
8 of 8: Due to that, be sure to save before you try, and keep trying until you can get the orb into the receptor. (Then save again.)
