The Orange Box: Portal Hints
What's the standard way?
1 of 5: Start by setting up the two portals to redirect an energy orb toward the receptor room door.
2 of 5: As soon as an orb comes through the portal you have on the extended wall segment, fire an orange portal onto the wall up near the button pedestal.
3 of 5: Then fire a blue portal into the wall beneath that.
4 of 5: Jump through and hit the button right away.
5 of 5: If you're fast enough, you'll have hit the button and opened the door right before the orb reaches it. If not, the orb will bounce off the door and you'll have to try again.
