Portal 2 Hints
How can I redirect the laser beam into that receptacle?
1 of 6: Since the beam and receptacle are at different heights, you'll clearly have to use portals.
2 of 6: Look directly across from the receptacle to find a portal-friendly surface.
3 of 6: Put a blue portal in the middle of it, then drop down to the laser beam's lower floor.
4 of 6: Move the franken-turret out of the beam's path if you haven't already, then pick up the redirection cube and move it into the beam's path.
5 of 6: Get the beam to hit the back wall straight-on (not at an angle), then put an orange portal on the wall where the beam is hitting it.
6 of 6: That should get the beam redirected into the first platform's receptacle. If not, try adjusting the portal positions and/or the redirection cube.
