Portal 2 Hints

How can I get to the storage cube?

  • 1 of 8: Go over to the ramp and look past it to see that there's a large drop-off between the chamber's starting section and its other two sections.
  • 2 of 8: You can't portal directly over to either of the other two sections, and the gap is too wide for you to jump over, even if you use the ramp.
  • 3 of 8: However, it's not too wide to jump over if you use the ramp *and* some of the new propulsion gel.
  • 4 of 8: Exploring the area you ramp-jumped to, you'll find that there's another big gap between it and the area with the storage cube.
  • 5 of 8: You'll find that the cube is in a small room behind a glass wall.
  • 6 of 8: Fortunately, the glass wall has a hole in it, and the room's back wall is portal-friendly.
  • 7 of 8: Fire a blue portal through the hole and onto the wall, then turn around to find a wall that you can put an orange portal on.
  • 8 of 8: Go through the orange portal to enter the cube's room.
