Portal 2 Hints

Pump Station Gamma

  • 1 of 10: Right after you exit the elevator, turn left and use Zoom mode to see a doorway off in the distance with a "Pump Station Gamma" sign to the left of it.
  • 2 of 10: Go through the doorway and the following force field to enter the pump station, then follow the metal walkway to the control room.
  • 3 of 10: This one has three consoles with big gel pumping switches on them. After using all of those, exit the control room to find that the walkway is now a deadly mash-athon.
  • 4 of 10: Go over to the stairs that lead down to the main pump station floor, then look around for a way to get onto the higher walkway that you can see on the other side of the room.
  • 5 of 10: Go through the force field and over to the propulsion gel spill, then move slowly up to the doorway that leads to another masher-guarded walkway section.
  • 6 of 10: Wait until the mashers are about halfway up, then lean on the "Move Forward" key to quickly zoom past them.
  • 7 of 10: Push open the exit door in the next room, then go outside to find that there's a big gap in the walkway that you need to get across.
  • 8 of 10: Enter the building past the walkway and move to the back, then turn right and drop down to the main floor.
  • 9 of 10: At the end of the main floor is a door that leads outside, but it won't open.
  • 10 of 10: Go along the walkway past the door to reach the elevator that'll take you to the Gamma Enrichment Sphere and Elevator Shaft region. (Note that for some reason, there's no actual region loading done as you ride the elevator.)
