Quake 4 Hints

Where can I locate a tram car?

  • 1 of 11: After the lift ride is over and you've gotten the nearby supplies, move on to find a large room with more supplies and some Strogg to use them on.
  • 2 of 11: Past that is a large rectangular room with several more foes, including a tank creature.
  • 3 of 11: Either dodge around the room's central pillars while fighting him, or retreat and fire back through the past several rooms.
  • 4 of 11: TIP: Use your DMG on him if you like since there's a 5-shot ammo pack for that gun in a small side room.
  • 5 of 11: A little further on, you'll come to an outdoor area where a medic and a tech are fighting some Strogg. Make sure both marines survive so they can get your armor and health back up after the battle.
  • 6 of 11: Your next goal will be to help the marines find and secure the bridge control center.
  • 7 of 11: In the control center, use a panel to activate the bridge outside that'll take you to the tram station area, then head back down to where you left the marines.
  • 8 of 11: Go outside through any door and shoot down the gladiator and other Strogg who show up to defend the bridge.
  • 9 of 11: To actually cross the bridge, go back inside and exit through the central of the three doors that lead outside.
  • 10 of 11: Go through the unlocked door past the bridge and then on to reach the big red locked doors that lead into the tram station.
  • 11 of 11: You'll have to figure out how to get into the tram station and then how to get to where Cortez rides in with a tram car. *Then* you'll finally have one!
