Second Key Puzzle

  • 1 of 13: This puzzle is very similar to the first key puzzle.  Pay attention to the same details as in that puzzle.
  • 2 of 13: The tiles rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise.
  • 3 of 13: And the keys gain one tooth as you move to the right, but there's no limit to the number of teeth.
  • 4 of 13: Also, the number of dots decreases by one as you move to the right, with one exception.
  • 5 of 13: As you move to the right, three dots become one.
  • 6 of 13: Again, notice the orientation of the key.
  • 7 of 13: It flips 180 degrees every time you move to the right, if you also account for the rotation o the entire tile.
  • 8 of 13: Finally, the squares are important here again.
  • 9 of 13: They're another numbering system.
  • 10 of 13: This time, they count in binary.  An empty square is 0 and a filled square is 1.
  • 11 of 13: The number goes up by one as you move to the right.  In other words, if the right-most square is empty in one tile, it is filled in the tile to the right.  If that square is filled, it becomes empty, and the next square to the left on the same tile is similarly changed.
  • 12 of 13: Read ahead for the location of the piece.
  • 13 of 13: It was located in the seed field at the wheel site; if not there, look in the specimen tray at the tent site.
