Beyond the Locked Doors

• 1 of 18: By going through any of the 3 previously locked doors, you come to a circular walkway.
• 2 of 18: There are 4 devices with built-in night vision goggles at various points.
• 3 of 18: 3 of them are directly in front of the previously locked doors.
• 4 of 18: The 4th one can be found by circumnavigating the circular walkway.
• 5 of 18: When looking through the night vision devices you can "pan" left, right and downwards.
• 6 of 18: Pay careful attention to what you see -- there are a number of vital clues.
• 7 of 18: Looking downwards, you will see a large machine of sorts in the centre on the bottom level.  This is the "core machine" that the lady explorer at the bath-house spoke about.
  • I never met the lady explorer.
• 8 of 18: Next to one of the night vision devices, you will see a stairwell leading down to the bottom level.
• 9 of 18: It's next to the device in front of the middle door.
• 10 of 18: Keep looking -- there's more!
• 11 of 18: Remember that you are looking at things through a night vision device.
• 12 of 18: A luminous object would be clearly visible.
• 13 of 18: Have you looked carefully at the railings?
• 14 of 18: From the 4th night vision device (the one not in front of a door) -- the other 3 devices are all visible.
• 15 of 18: Study the railings to the right of the device in front of the middle door...
• 16 of 18: ...one of the rails is luminous!
• 17 of 18: Go to this part of the railings -- turn so that you are facing the railings -- you will find a luminous rod!
