The Alchemy Workshop

  • 1 of 15: You won't have access to the workshop until you've solved the "hanging stones" puzzle.
  • 2 of 15: The pot on the fire is ideal for melting objects.
  • 3 of 15: Did you find anything as you entered the city?
  • 4 of 15: Look inside the pig's trough in the corner at the city entrance.
  • 5 of 15: You don't seriously expect to melt a porcelain weight, do you?
  • 6 of 15: Perhaps you could swap it for something else.
  • 7 of 15: Have you spoken to the man at the market?
  • 8 of 15: He's a merchant and will invite you into his shop.
  • 9 of 15: In the centre of his shop is a table with some interesting items on it.
  • 10 of 15: No, he won't swap the water bottle -- he tells you that it's "worth its weight in gold".
  • 11 of 15: You'll have to find a gold object and return later.  In the meantime he is quite prepared to swap a lead weight for your porcelain one.
  • 12 of 15: Lead can be melted!
  • 13 of 15: Put the lead weight (and the philosopher's stone) into the boiling pot.
  • 14 of 15: The magic of alchemy -- a gold weight!
  • 15 of 15: You are now ready to barter for the water bottle.
