The Basket Lift Puzzle

  • 1 of 11: At the end of one of the rope bridges is a basket which appears to be some sort of lift.
  • 2 of 11: It's operated by a lever on the actual basket.
  • 3 of 11: Unfortunately the basket has been chained down.
  • 4 of 11: Someone in the city must have a key for the padlock.
  • 5 of 11: However, nobody seems to have it when you ask them.
  • 6 of 11: Persistent effort is the "key"note to success!
  • 7 of 11: You will have to speak to the blonde man (who occassionally appears outside the house to the very right on the 2nd level) 3 times before he gives you a key that he found.
  • 8 of 11: I suppose it was far too easy for this to be the right key!
  • 9 of 11: If it's not the key for the padlock, then it must belong to someone else.
  • 10 of 11: Return it to the apprentice, and in appreciation, he gives you a set of lock picks.
  • 11 of 11: You are now able to pick the padlock and use the basket lift.
