Combat Tips
1 of 5: Fighting in this game is generally either very easy or impossible. And by impossible, I mean that you need to look for some trick to win a fight.
2 of 5: Very early on in the game, you'll be able to learn how to fight.
3 of 5: The tutorial that Lyle gives you is adequate for the most part. The toughest thing that I found was in mastering the controls -- a mouse is hardly the best device for this sort of thing.
4 of 5: Also, keep in mind that there are only four positions for the sword -- left, right, up, and centered. You don't need to be particularly careful about how far up or to the side you move the sword -- all you need to do is make sure that it gets to the appropriate section somehow.
5 of 5: Finally, note that your health is reset completely after each fight (or set of fights, if they follow each other directly without any adventuring). So don't worry about conserving your health for later fights.
