RHEM Hints

CHEAT NOTE

  • 1 of 8: The saved game files are simple text files that Microsoft Notepad can load up and alter. That means you can cheat to finish the game more quickly. This is the ULTIMATE spoiler, far more even than the walkthrough itself is, so if you actually paid good money to get an enjoyable and/or challenging gaming experience, don't read any further! (Or read, but don't do.)
  • 2 of 8: While playing, make an extra (disposable) save called "0 test" or something, then quit and use Notepad to load up that save. (It'll be in the RHEME folder on your hard drive.)
  • 3 of 8: Near the beginning of the text in the save file are four "Ma" entries that look like this:   "Ma1": 0, "Ma2": 0, "Ma3": 0, "Ma4": 0
  • 4 of 8: Change all of the zeroes to ones, getting this:   "Ma1": 1, "Ma2": 1, "Ma3": 1, "Ma4": 1
  • 5 of 8: Save your changes and exit Notepad, run the game again, and load the edited save. Check your inventory to see that you do indeed have all four letter pieces.
  • 6 of 8: You can now ride the elevator up to the top of the Four Way Tower and put the pieces into the machine with the special panel to get the printout and gold key.
  • 7 of 8: However, it's still a bit of a pain to get to the second rail station where you use the gold key and escape. To raise its bridge via cheating, find "GaBr": 0 in your edited save and change it to "GaBr": 1.
  • 8 of 8: Then travel there and see the Second Rail Station hint section for the final hints on getting to the rail car and escaping.
