Riddle of the Sphinx Hints

I can't open the doorways on either side of the room.

  • 1 of 9: Look carefully at the doorways.  What do you see?
  • 2 of 9: You should see a picture of a statue, blowing a trumpet.
  • 3 of 9: You'll need to emulate the picture.
  • 4 of 9: You can't blow the trumpet when it's in your inventory.
  • 5 of 9: You'll need to find a place to rest it while you blow it.
  • 6 of 9: Use the trumpet stand in front of the Flautist statue.
  • 7 of 9: Place the trumpet on the stand, but not from the front.
  • 8 of 9: Once you have placed the trumpet on the stand, facing one of the side walls, what happens if you play it?
  • 9 of 9: If that works on one of the doorways, it just might work on both of them.
