Return to Mysterious Island Hints
What do I do with the small table and wall cloth at the back of the cavern?
of 20: This is one of the activities that is not necessary to complete the game. It will, however, enhance the story further, should you decide to solve this puzzle.
of 20: There are several items nearby that can be used in this location.
of 20: What does the position of the small table, and the cloth on the wall, suggest?
of 20: Have you looked over the bookshelf against the wall (to the right, when facing the small table)?
of 20: You can find a broken projector there.
of 20: And if you've searched the other storage rooms in Granite House, you may have also found something to go along with the projector.
of 20: In the middle storage room (the one with the cannon by the window), check Captain Nemo's work table.
of 20: Especially the lower shelf, to the left side of the table.
of 20: You should find something appropriate to use with a projector.
of 20: Take the slides that you find on the lower shelf.
of 20: One reason that the projector is broken is that it has no lamp.
of 20: Once you have all the parts of a working projector, there still seems to be one item missing.
of 20: What are you going to use the projector for?
of 20: Use the slides that you found on the shelf underneath Captain Nemo's worktable to complete the "equation", and get a ready-to-use working slide projector.
of 20: Good thing you've got an ideal place to watch the pictures.
of 20: Place the working projector on the small table. Looks like everything's ready but the popcorn!
of 20: Click on the screen to watch the show. Use the controls in the upper left hand corner to advance the slides. Click the "X" in the lower right hand corner to exit the show at any time.
