How can I get a working light?

  • 1 of 8: There are several sources of light to be found around Granite House...
  • 2 of 8: ... predominantly a couple of old lanterns -- neither of which works, of course.
  • 3 of 8: Before you can find either one, you will need to bring some light into the dark recesses of Granite House (ironic, eh?).
  • 4 of 8: Once the dark areas have been lit, check in the room to the left.
  • 5 of 8: Look on the crude bookshelf against the wall.  There's a broken lantern there.
  • 6 of 8: Another (broken) lantern can be found on the floor of the tunnel leading out the back of Granite House.
  • 7 of 8: Fortunately, all they need is a good charge (the Captain apparently also invented rechargeable batteries that lasted 100 years!).
  • 8 of 8: Charge one of the lanterns from your battery by combining a lantern and a battery in inventory.
