How do I solve the puzzle on the panel with the flashing red light?
1 of 18: This puzzle isn't required to finish the game. But solving it will add points to your total. This hint will provide the clues necessary to solve the puzzle, should you choose to do so.
2 of 18: Mina says that there appear to be pieces missing from the mechanism.
3 of 18: Notice the pieces at the bottom of the panel, which seem to have fallen off of the puzzle.
4 of 18: Now what do you suppose that we could do with those pieces?
5 of 18: It seems that we're going to need to reconstruct whatever symbol or image was originally represented on this panel.
6 of 18: But how can we do that, if we don't even know what the original looked like?
7 of 18: Remember that you're aboard the Nautilus. One virtue that Captain Nemo did not suffer from was humility. The Nautilus was everything to him.
8 of 18: Its logo appears in many places.
9 of 18: One of them is on the puzzle on this door.
10 of 18: You'll need to arrange the squares of this puzzle to form a capital "N".
11 of 18: Before you pick up any of the fallen pieces, try clicking on the ones already in place on the panel, to see what happens.
12 of 18: It seems that you can rotate any piece in place, but cannot move it to another location.
13 of 18: Your best strategy is to begin by visualizing how the capital "N" might be made, and then try to rotate the pieces already in place, to form parts of that "N".
14 of 18: Once you have done that, it will be easier to visualize where to insert the fallen pieces.
15 of 18: To insert one of the fallen pieces, click on it, and drag it to the desired location.
16 of 18: Once in place, you can rotate it as any other piece.
17 of 18: If you find that you have place one of the fallen pieces incorrectly, you can drag it back to the bottom of the panel, from where it originally came, or to any other open square.
18 of 18: Once the puzzle is solved, the door will open, and Mina will be able to see a hole in the floor, providing a second access to Captain Nemo's Quarters.
