How can I proceed into the water?
1 of 16: First, you'll have to deal with the sea monster.
3 of 16: What might Captain Nemo have left around, that you could use to travel out underwater?
4 of 16: Mina says that she'd "need a diving suit to go under water".
5 of 16: The torn note from the Captain's journal (on the worktable in the room by the cannon) indicated that the Captain had a run-in with the sea monster while he was diving.
6 of 16: You might start by checking near his body.
7 of 16: Find the diving suit to the right of Captain Nemo's body.
8 of 16: But the diving suit itself isn't enough.
9 of 16: Have you seen anything else nearby that looks like it would go with a diving suit?
10 of 16: Look at the base of the ladder...
11 of 16: ... where you can find a diving helmet.
12 of 16: An air tank would be helpful, as well. (Captain Nemo really WAS ahead of his time, wasn't he?)
13 of 16: The air tank can be found with the diving helmet, near the base of the ladder.
14 of 16: One last item -- because it's going to be a dark trip.
15 of 16: You'll need some kind of light to take with you.
16 of 16: And then you can combine all of the necessary items (diving suit, helmet, air tank, charged lantern) in the inventory combining tray, and be ready for your underwater trip.
