Where is the giant black pearl?

  • 1 of 13: Originally, it held the position of highest grandeur in the display case.  But that case -- the "wine-red case" -- is empty!
  • 2 of 13: Something apparently has shaken up the Nautilus a bit (most likely those earthquakes), and this one pearl seems to be missing.
  • 3 of 13: There are actually two giant black pearls in the game; you may have access to either one, or only one of them, depending on choices you have made in the game.
  • 4 of 13: One giant black pearl was given to you by the ghost of Captain Nemo.
  • 5 of 13: If you have that pearl in inventory, you can place it on the display case now, and then use it as the answer to the robot's riddle.
  • 6 of 13: If you do not have a giant black pearl, then you will need to discover what happened to the one that used to be in the display case.
  • 7 of 13: You'll need to search around for it.
  • 8 of 13: It couldn't have rolled far.
  • 9 of 13: In fact, if you know where to look, you can see it from where you are standing, in front of the display of pearls.
  • 10 of 13: Doesn't it always seem that, whenever you drop something, it will always land in a place that makes it difficult to retrieve?
  • 11 of 13: Like, for example, under the furniture?
  • 12 of 13: Check under the sofa.
  • 13 of 13: Find the pearl under the right side of the sofa, retrieve it, and put it back in its case.  Then use it to answer the robot's riddle.
