Sam & Max: Season 2 Hints

How do I get water from the Fountain of Youth?

  • 1 of 11: Okay, this is going to be complicated. First you need a cup or a glass or something that can hold water. You'll find one here on Easter Island.
  • 2 of 11: Try the bar in the Tiny Tiki area (at the far left past the cave), on the bar behind Amelia Earhart. Great!
  • 3 of 11: But if you try to just scoop some water out of the fountain, the dang piranhas jump up and snap at you. Clearly, you'll need to take out those stupid fish before you can use the Fountain. Well, let's try talking to the Moai heads; maybe they can help.
  • 4 of 11: The Moai on the left, the one who's half-buried, always produces a cloud and some lightning when you talk to him. If you could somehow get that cloud over to the Fountain, it would zap them all. But how?
  • 5 of 11: Have you figured out how the gongs and triangles work yet?
  • 6 of 11: There's a gong and triangle just to the left of the Guardian of the Storm. Activate that one and the one next to the fountain, then talk to Thunderhead again and see what happens.
  • 7 of 11: Nuts! We're on the right track, but we need a way to push that cloud into the triangle. For that, you'll need the help of the middle Moai, the Guardian of the Winds.
  • 8 of 11: She could easily blow the cloud into the triangle, but she won't -- she says she's got the blahs. We need to improve her mood somehow
  • 9 of 11: Lincoln's no help here; he keeps hitting on her, but she's really not interested. Maybe one of the babies in the Tiny Tiki area (at the far left past the cave) can help.
  • 10 of 11: Glenn Miller is the only one who's likely to be any help. He was famous, after all, for his toe-tapping songs, like "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and "Pennsylvania 6-5000."
  • 11 of 11: When you have the conch with the song in it, use it on the middle Moai. As soon as she starts whistling, talk to the Thunder Moai to make him produce a thunderstorm. If you're quick and the two triangles are set up, zap!
