Sam & Max: Season 3 Hints
How do I get past Grandpa Mole's death traps?
of 10: Grandpa Mole is in the Burial Chamber of Sammun Mak, which is in a chamber on the right side of the room. To get there, pull the snake-shaped sconce on the right wall that he pulled to disappear. You can also reach him by going to the upper level where the Guardians are and going through the right door.
of 10: All you really need to do is distract him. He's about halfway there himself; he's fixated on Baby Amelia Earhart, but she stays just out of reach.
of 10: Once you have those two things, you're ready to go. But the angle is a little funny here; you want Baby Amelia to move to the right, not just away from you. You'll need to push her twice --
of 10: -- once toward the back of the room, and once from there toward Grandpa Mole. The first one is easy; the second will require some wicked English on it.
of 10: Once you're hexed, just talk to Baby Amelia, and she goes flying. But what now?
of 10: You might not have realized it, but when Max uses the dummy, his magic ventriloquist voice actually emerges from the person or thing he throws it into.
of 10: While Baby Amelia is lying stunned next to the sarcophagus, use the dummy on the sarcophagus to speak from it. Baby Amelia now gets thrown forward into Grandpa Mole's arms.
of 10: You can now walk into the room without danger.
