The Secrets of Atlantis Hints

How can I get the other half of the bas-relief?

  • 1 of 15: Ask Kate Sullivan where she thinks it might be.
  • 2 of 15: She says that it's probably in the great hall of glass, and that the rays of the sun will play an important role in finding it.
  • 3 of 15: Move around her cage and on down the walkway until you come to some steps that lead to the big "hall of glass" area.
  • 4 of 15: Start your search for the bas-relief by examining the two bookcases that are to the left and right of the stairs you just came down.
  • 5 of 15: When you approach the bookcase to the right of those stairs, Captain Blackwood will leave your company and start browsing.
  • 6 of 15: Carefully scan the shelves of that bookcase to find two books that you can click on to read passages from.
  • 7 of 15: One's near the middle of the second shelf up, and the other is near the middle of the top shelf.
  • 8 of 15: The one on the lower shelf mentions how various gems "reflect light like suns."
  • 9 of 15: Maybe that ties in with what Kate said about how the rays of the sun will be important in finding the bas-relief.
  • 10 of 15: Your task now is to find all the gems that are hidden about the area. Hints for each are given below.
  • 11 of 15: After you get them all, figure out where to place them so that they'll "show the way" to the bas-relief you're after.
  • 12 of 15: When you place the final gem, it'll shoot out a beam of white light that points to the pillar that has the bas-relief hidden in it.
  • 13 of 15: Go down the steps that get you next to that pillar, then examine it carefully.
  • 14 of 15: Near where the beam of light is hitting it, there's a secret compartment that you can open.
  • 15 of 15: Click on it after opening it to take the bas-relief. And what a relief! (Too bad you don't get to keep it for very long.)
