The Secrets of Atlantis Hints
Where do I need to put the gems?
of 12: On some pedestal items in the hall of glass that were specifically made for that purpose.
of 12: Look around to see if you can find anything that might work.
of 12: Have you noticed any statues that are covered with "invasive" ivy?
of 12: There are three of them. Two of them are near the larger, outer bookcases that you can't approach and search, and the third one is next to the small lounge area that doesn't have the big chest you got the emerald from.
of 12: There's no way to even tell if the statues have gem pedestals with all that ivy clinging to them, so you'll have to cut it away.
of 12: Use the handy "zeppelin knife" for that.
of 12: Removing the ivy from each statue shows that they all three have interactive pedestals.
of 12: Try putting some gems on them.
of 12: Since this whole routine has to do with using sunlight rays, start with the statue that has a beam of sunlight shining down on it.
of 12: Your goal there is to put the one gem on that statue's pedestal that'll reflect the sun's rays toward the next statue's pedestal.
of 12: Since you can pick a gem back up after putting it on a pedestal, it can be fairly quick and easy to use simple guesswork to get all the gems properly placed.
of 12: To summarize, you put the emerald on the pedestal with the beam of sunlight shining down on it, the sapphire on the next pedestal, the ruby on the last pedestal, and then the moonstone on the large door at the top of the stairs.
