The Secrets of Atlantis Hints

How can I get a badge for elevator access?

  • 1 of 12: The bellhop on the 82nd floor says that you can get one at the ground-floor reception desk, so you'll have to get down to the ground floor first.
  • 2 of 12: Once you're there, go over to the reception desk and talk to the receptionist about a badge.
  • 3 of 12: She'll say that no badges can be given out during a maintenance alert, so you'll have to get one some other way.
  • 4 of 12: Exploring around the available areas, you'll find no loose badges. However, you will find a couple of other people to talk to.
  • 5 of 12: The bellhop in the elevator hall is no help, so talk to the journalist who's standing around near the reception desk. (He's right next to where you first appeared on this floor.)
  • 6 of 12: You'll learn that the journalist has a badge, but he isn't willing to give it up yet. He's still hoping to interview some big star who's in the building.
  • 7 of 12: To find out more about that, talk to the receptionist about the new topics she now has.
  • 8 of 12: You'll learn that the star is Greta Garbo, and a bellhop named Harry Mitchell lost some of her luggage recently.
  • 9 of 12: Maybe the bellhop who's standing in this floor's elevator hall is Harry Mitchell.
  • 10 of 12: When you talk to him about Garbo, you'll get a choice as to who to "accuse" of losing Miss Garbo's luggage.
  • 11 of 12: You'll learn from Harry that Miss Garbo is coming down in about an hour.
  • 12 of 12: Go talk to the journalist about his badge again in order to exchange this bit of useful info for the badge.
