What if those guards walk down the nearby stairs instead?
1 of 6: They may have heard some noise as you approached.
2 of 6: Retreat and wait a bit for them to get where they're going.
3 of 6: Then peek out of the doorway and shoot out the lamp that's just to the left.
4 of 6: One of the guards takes up a position near a cannon facing away from you, so you can easily sneak up on him or just go on down the stairs.
5 of 6: The other guard goes on down the path to the lighthouse, so watch carefully for him as you go along that path.
6 of 6: Hit him quickly with a sticky shocker or airfoil round as soon as you can.
