Schizm Hints
I can't do the math!
of 9: The symbols on all of the tablets translate to a duodecimal system (i.e. base 12).
of 9: Since individual digits can range from 0 to 11, we'll use "A" to represent 10 and "B" to represent 11 (as in a hexadecimal system).
of 9: For example, the first set of old coordinates on the first tablet would be "7A5" (or 7, 10, 5).
of 9: The first set of new coordinates on that same tablet would be "78A" (or 7, 8, and 10).
of 9: Doing the math (in duodecimal) results in a difference of 17 (also duodecimal).
of 9: Now, if we look at the second tablet, and subtract that same difference (17) from the first set of old coordinates ("362"), we get "347", which exactly matches the first set of new coordinates.
of 9: All of the other coordinates can be "translated" in the same manner.
of 9: Doing the same math on the second set of coordinates (for the right panel), you should discover that the new coordinates could be calculated by ADDING 14 (duodecimal) to the old coordinates.
of 9: Therefore, new coordinates can be calculated from the old coordinates on the "hidden tablet" in the same manner.
