How can I bring more light to the lower level?

  • 1 of 11: You won't find any portable source of light, such as a candle or lantern.
  • 2 of 11: There's plenty of light outside -- if only it could be redirected inside somehow.
  • 3 of 11: Perhaps increasing the light that gets into the main crypt would be a good place to start.
  • 4 of 11: The only available light comes in through two small side windows, and a larger glass dome.
  • 5 of 11: It's time to get a little destructive.
  • 6 of 11: If Michael could break the glass in the dome of the ceiling, that might let more light in.
  • 7 of 11: If you go back downstairs and look around, it appears that even this extra bit of light was not enough.  It's still too dark.  It may be helpful, at this point, to stand on the upper level and make careful note of where the light from the ceiling dome is falling.
  • 8 of 11: The light from the ceiling dome cannot light up the lower level unless it falls through the grating in the floor -- or is focused down the stairway.
  • 9 of 11: Since the light from the ceiling dome is falling near the stairway, it would make sense to search for a way to redirect the light down the stairs.
  • 10 of 11: Or, instead of thinking of it as "redirecting", you could think of it as "reflecting."
